Pickleball

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball – the fastest growing sport in Australia!

This easy to learn game was invented in Bainbridge, Washington, USA in 1965 by Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell and Barney McCallum who were looking for an activity to entertain their families over the Summer.

Pickleball is an easy to learn, paddle sport that combines the elements of Tennis, Ping-pong, and Badminton played on a Badminton sized hard-court with a hollowed out plastic ball. The game is suitable for players of all ages and skill levels. The game is played with two or four players.  It can also be played competitively by more experienced players as it is a fast-paced, highly strategic game.
